Reseller & OEM – FAQ

Here are the frequently asked questions from those interested in Reseller or OEM account status. The list of questions will be continuously updated as needed.

1. I am interested in becoming a reseller, but I would like to first advertise your tubes on my website or to my customers directly via newsletter, to test out the market interest BEFORE I place my first order. Can I have your authorization to use your brand trademark to do so?

Answer: In short, No. Resellers are NOT allowed to advertise [Linlai™ Global] products when their reseller status not approved, AND first order has not been placed and paid in full with us.

After your reseller status is approved, and if we do NOT receive your first order within 90 days, your reseller status will be revoked without notice.

2. Do you provide drop shipping for resellers from your factory or other warehouses?

Answer: No. [Linlai™ Global] do NOT provide drop shipping for resellers. Reseller must place orders in required quantity with us to receive corresponding discount, and sell from your acquired inventory, from your business location to your target customers. Our resellers must have first-hand experience with our tube products in order to provide customers the best possible service they deserve.

3. Do I get territory exclusive selling rights once I become a reseller?

Answer: No exclusivity to any territory anywhere in the world.

Internet and Google have eliminated the continent, country, region and even language barriers – we like it or not, this is the fact and it will stay that way. So we cannot enforce any exclusivity for any resellers in the internet world. We enforce advertised pricing to create even ground for all resellers, and we leave it to you to compete with your best possible service to gain customers, in your own unique way.

4. If as a reseller I purchase in large quantity, do I get more discount?

Answer: Yes large quantity in a single order does receive more wholesale discount. But,

Do NOT overstock beyond your selling ability within the warranty time window, just for the sake of getting bigger discount in pricing.

We will not extend reseller warranty from your purchase order date, if you have stock left unsold after warranty expires. Reseller is required to test your received stock immediately after delivery and file for warranty if any shipping damages occur. No exception to this stocking policy and we do NOT encourage anyone to overstock then flood the market when they actually do not have ability to sell such quantity within their own customer base.

5. Can I call you to place order with my credit card?

Answer: All reseller / OEM orders are to be placed on this website online, in order for us to receive your accurate billing & shipping address for order fulfillment, register your purchase warranty and address future issues that may arise. You can use credit card or bank wire transfer to make payment for your order, depending on the total order amount. We process credit card payment through Paypal. Wire Transfer instruction will be provided once you place your order and have opted for such a payment method.

Due to time difference from our sales & marketing team’s time zone and worldwide customers’ time zones, we do not provide contact method by telephone. This is also to avoid potential misunderstanding from verbal communication. All correspondence are to be documented by email properly to avoid future disputes.

6. I am not from USA but from EU. Can I pay my order with Euro?

Answer: Yes you can. On our website front page, you can set currency to Euro then view all pricing in Euro currency. We can also accept payment in Euros through our overseas distributors.

8. I am a tube amp manufacturer and I am interested in trying out your tubes products. Can you send me some tube samples?

Answer: As high end tubes are of high cost and high retail value, we are not in a position to provide free samples for evaluation and comparison by undecided manufacturers. 

However, we do encourage manufacturers to start with an order of a single pair – if it works with your product design well, you are more than welcome to sign up as an OEM client of ours to purchase in quantity, and incorporate our tubes into your finished products. Once you place your first OEM order within 6 months, we will credit your first pair purchased at retail price to OEM pricing. 

9. I purchased your tubes at wholesale price under my OEM account. Can I sell these tubes to my amp customers or amp dealers separately?

Answer: OEM clients are NOT to resell tubes as standalone products. You are only authorized to sell them as an integral part of your amplification products when the amp was sold NEW. Otherwise your tube warranty will be voided.

Reseller account is for resell our tubes as standalone products and provide tube upgrade consulting and services to worldwide customers.

10. I had a Reseller / OEM account approved before. Why cannot I access wholesale pricing anymore?

Once Tube Reseller / Amp OEM clients confirm accepting our sales terms and conditions in writing and your completed application has been approved by us, we will set you business up for a Reseller or OEM account within 5 business days.  Once setup, you will have 90 days to check pricing and decide on your first order. If no orders are placed within 90 days, the Reseller / OEM account will go dormant / suspended until an order is placed. We reserve our rights and discretion to have account status re-approved before reactivation. All Reseller / OEM accounts are subject to our review of purchase volume annually to determine if your Reseller / OEM status remain valid. This review is solely at our discretion.
